Contact Beth Ann Edwards

Beth Ann comes to Plymouth Congregational Church with more than 20 years of experience in programming and producing both performing and visual arts events. She has curated and participated in liturgical and secular visual art exhibits for adults and youth, taught visual arts and music at summer arts camps, and presented art instruction for the After School Arts Program (ASAP). Beth Ann has maintained a painting and graphic design studio since 1999 and she exhibits visual art in the Des Moines metro area. 

Her ringing career began 35 years ago in a church handbell choir, and she continues to ring locally and at national handbell ringing events. Beth Ann has directed all ages and levels of handbell ringers since 1999 and is a founding member and co-director of Des Moines Concert Handbells.

Beth Ann holds a Master of Church Music degree with Handbell Emphasis, a bachelor's degree in secondary English education, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual art, and a Master of Business Administration. She is active in local and national handbell organizations and has held appointed and elected positions in community and civic organizations including Des Moines Choral Society and Arts in the City. Beth Ann is married to John Edwards; their family includes three grown children and four grandchildren. As time allows, Beth Ann can be found reading, knitting, traveling, or making art.
