“A Midsummer Night's Dream Extravaganza"
Plymouth Women invites you to join us at a free outdoor "dinner-theatre" event! EVERYONE is welcome! Plan to meet along the beautiful downtown Des Moines Riverwalk at Simon Estes Amphitheater for an evening of camaraderie, picnics, and terrific professional entertainment. This Shakespeare-based outdoor theatre event is produced by Plymouth member Lorenzo Sandoval and his partner, Robin Heinemann.
Event Details
When: Sunday, July 18, 7:00pm for picnic and best seats, show time is 8:15
Where: Simon Estes Amphitheater, easy street and surface lot parking on Sunday nights
Cost: FREE!
What to Bring: You may want to bring your own entrée, beverage, and a dish to share. Wine is available for purchase along with various small treats from vendors. Sun umbrellas may be needed earlier in the evening during the picnic, while a light jacket or sweater is advisable for when the sun goes down. Also bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. If it has been damp, the chair is highly recommended.

PLYMOUTH WOMEN ADVENTURE GROUPS
Adventure groups are for women of all ages, life stages and interests who are seeking safe, liberating adventures to enhance the mind, body and spirit. Each adventure group is comprised of eight women who commit to one year of eight adventures--, two per season for a total of eight. Registration for the next adventure groups begins in August 2010. Meanwhile, if you are interested in sampling one or more adventures before next August, consider PWAG-Lite. PWAG-Lite is a series of pre-planned adventures offered periodically throughout the year.

Moms and Moppets provides an opportunity for mothers of young children to gather on a regular basis for fellowship, education and support, while at the same time offering a separate peer social group for their children.

Moms and Moppets offers you four ways to be involved:
· Thursday Morning Monthly Meetings: September through May, we meet the third Thursday of each month, 9:15 a.m. to11:30 a.m. in the Burling Room. On-site child care is offered with nursing or reticent children welcome to attend with their moms. Meetings consist of social time as well as periodic speakers on topics interesting to women and moms. Additional evening activities are sometimes planned.
· Moms' Nights Out: During the program year, September through May, we meet at various locations for fellowship activities. See schedule below for dates and times.
· Family Nights Out: An evening for parents and kids! Bring a dish to share, and join us in Waveland Hall for a Potluck Dinner followed by games for the whole family.
· Families of Faith: Connect with other parents as you learn fun ways to be intentional about growing faith in your home.

On the fourth Monday of each month throughout the year we gather at 7:30 p.m. either in the host’s home or at a local restaurant. Moms take turns selecting the month’s book, selecting the location, and leading the related discussion. WOMEN'S LUNCHEON GROUP
Plymouth Women gather on the third Thursday of the month at 12:15 p.m. from September through June (no January meeting) for lunch, fellowship, and a program. The program is usually a speaker or music with a focus more towards women aged 55 and more. All are welcome. Reservations must be called in to the church office, 515.255.3149, by 10:00 a.m. the Tuesday before the luncheon. Payment is due at the luncheon; unfulfilled reservations must still be paid. The group meets in the Inspiration Lounge in the Center for Spiritual Growth, every Wednesday, 9:30 - 11 am.
