Oct. 6: Josh Mandelbaum at Forum

Des Moines’ Houseless Issue will be discussed at the Sunday morning Forum in the Greenwood Room on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 10:10-10:50 a.m.

Josh Mandelbaum, member of the Des Moines City Council, will lead the discussion. Josh is serving his second term on the DSM CC. He has been an advocate for housing accessibility, safe transportation options for everyone, and sustainability. One of the many community organizations Josh serves on is the Polk County Housing Trust Fund. He served as a policy advisor for Governor Vilsack and Lt. Governor Pederson. In his day job, Josh is an attorney with the Environmental Law and Policy Center.
