Remi is a native of Texas and received their Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Texas Christian University before attending Brite Divinity School. While at Brite, Remi was a Walker Preaching Scholar. They graduated from Brite and were ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in May of 2023.

Remi was an active member of Galileo Christian Church in Fort Worth before becoming a staff member of that church in 2020. As Galileo’s Apprentice Evangelist, Remi was responsible for their “Inside Out” online church community, making church possible for people who were too far away to ever set foot in Galileo's building: not just a livestream, but pastoral care, community, friendship, leadership opportunities, and more.

Remi is an Associate Pastor with our TiM (Transition into Ministry) program. They moved to Des Moines in 2023 with their wife Nathan (she/her) and their six-month old baby, Junia. The whole family is excited to have Plymouth as their new church home.
