Jim was born and raised in Des Moines. He attended Sunday School, was confirmed and baptized at Plymouth Church. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance Administrative Management from the University of Iowa.

Jim brings over 40 years experience as an Executive Finance Team Member for several local for-profit and non-profit organizations. Jim is married to his wife Sherry, and they have three adult daughters, Erin, Brittany and Taylor.
