Church School Substitute Teachers Needed

We're in need of substitute teachers for Plymouth Church School to ensure our program remains strong throughout the year. This position is paid $50 per call with the option to volunteer your time in lieu of payment, if preferred. 

Additional Info:

• Curriculum, supplies, and lesson plan will be provided. 

• Church school occurs on Sundays during the 9 a.m. service.  Applicants must be available from 8:30-10:30 the day they sub.  Time includes teaching as well as set-up and clean-up responsibilities.

• Most classrooms have an additional adult volunteer to help with classroom management

If you’re interested, below are the requirements:

• Must be 18 or older

• Complete a background check

• Must be comfortable leading children ages pre-k to 6th grade

• Complete a short orientation session
