Jan. 20: Volunteer at Food Bank of Iowa
Join Plymouth’s Anti-Racism Committee on Monday, Jan. 20 from 1:30 - 4 p.m. at the Food Bank of Iowa. Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by volunteering your time to help feed hungry Iowans.
The Food Bank of Iowa requires volunteers to sign up ahead of time. Click here to register.
Volunteers will help with sorting, labeling, weighing, and packing various food items. The projects vary day to day and volunteers regularly work with fresh produce, dry goods, and other donations.
Age Requirement: The minimum age requirement is 10 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 10-15 years must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Both the adult and youth must be registered for the shift.
