Holiday Donation to Plymouth Church Foundation

The holiday season and year’s end are an opportune time to support the ministries of Plymouth Church by making a donation to the Plymouth Church Foundation.  Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) allow church members to support the Foundation directly from their IRAs. QCDs allow individuals aged 70½ and older to transfer funds from their IRAs to meet RMD requirements for the year.

By directing funds straight from your IRA to a charity like the Foundation, the distributed amount isn't counted as taxable income. Contact your IRA administrator who can guide you through the process and distribute the funds directly to the Foundation.

The Foundation continues to award grants that help address church capital projects as well as breathe life into programs and ministries not budgeted for through the general fund giving. For more information about how to support the Foundation, please contact Senior Pastor Jared Wortman (jwortman@plymouthchurch.com).
