As a member since 1996, Shana Johnson (pronounced Shawna) has been active at Plymouth Church in Stepping Stones, Stephen Ministry, OWL, Confirmation, YEC, and was the Youth Coordinator from 2010 to 2014. She is honored and thrilled to return to the Plymouth staff as the Director of Children, Teens, and Families.

Shana grew up in Northwest Iowa where she was active in athletics and youth activities in the United Methodist Church. She has always cherished the intergenerational connections she encounters in the church community.

Shana is married to Kirk Johnson, a Northwest Iowa native and DMPS educator. They have three adult children (Ashton, Pryce, and Sage) who also grew up in Plymouth and are now experiencing life outside of the metro. In her free time, Shana enjoys any kind of exercise, any kind of reading, and any kind of traveling. She also enjoys connecting with anyone over a great cup of coffee, and her door is always open.
