Flower Delivery Team Volunteers

The Board of Congregational Care is looking for flower delivery volunteers. The Flower Delivery Team is a mighty little group of dedicated individuals but is in need of a 10 or more who are able to commit to approximately 5-6 Sundays a year. Pretty doable, right?

After the 11 a.m. Sunday service (or 10 a.m. in the summer) the donated flowers are taken to the Sacristy where the Flower Delivery Team separates the flowers into smaller bouquets and then delivers to individuals in their home, care facility or hospital. Typically there are 4-5 bouquets delivered each week except for Sundays in which Communion in served. By increasing the volunteer pool to 15 we would be able to create a quarterly schedule and have 2 dedicated volunteers each week.

If you have participated in the past and want to become active in delivering again or If you have been looking for a way to get involved at Plymouth please contact Mary O’Brien (mobrien.dsm@gmail.com). The Flower Ministry has been providing flowers to our members in need of cheer for many years. Let’s keep this ministry vibrant as we express our care and concern to those in need. The Board of Congregational Care can’t wait to hear from you!
