March 27: Lunch and Learn, Let’s talk about Transgender Issues

In today's  political and religious climate where transgender issues and legal rights have taken center stage, it is vital that we have accurate and informed information and understanding of basic vocabulary and concepts concerning trans, transgender, nonbinary and gender identity. On March 27 at Noon, Plymouth members Lori Brinkley and Joe Freund will share their personal experiences and leave lots of time for discussion and questions.

Lori Brinkley leads local transgender support groups and speaks regularly at the U of Iowa medical school on trans issues. Joe Freund is a retired family doctor with years of experience in transgender healthcare and education.
